Welcome to the Nordic Climbing Championships in 2021 in Lillehammer, 5 - 7 November 2021. We are happy to announce, for the first time in history, Paraclimbers will participate in the Nordic Championships! Youth, junior, senior and senior para will compete on the same day. Qualification is on Saturday and all finals on Sunday. Prepare for two days packed with high-level climbing from the best climbers from the Nordics!

The competition will follow national and regional instructions given by the Norwegian government and local authorities. Which instructions that are valid during the competition will be updated continuously on the web. Please pay attention to these instructions.

Competition formats
The competition follows the rules of the IFSC and EYC with a minor Nordic adjustment. See agreement

Youth B&A use the EYC format:
Qualification: 2 routes, flash, time limit 6 min, rout demonstration, randomized startlist
Final: 10 climbers, 1 route, on-sight, time limit 6 min, observation (6min).

Qualification: 2 routes, flash, time limit 6 min, rout demonstration, randomized startlist
Final: 8 climbers, 1 route, on-sight, time limit 6 min, observation (6min).

10 classes
- Youth B Boys & Girls (born 2006-2007)
- Youth A Boys & Girls (born 2004-2005)
- Juniors Boys & Girls (born 2002-2003)
- Senior Male & Female (born 2001 or earlier)
- Para Male & Female (born 2007 or earlier)
The following para classes are included (visual impairment, sitting, upper extremities and lower extremities)

Each country can bring up to 50 climbers – 10 for each age group (or 40 per country) and additional 10 para climbers.

Registration - No later than October 8st
35 Euro per climber / Registration through National Federations. The Norwegian federation will send one single invoice to each registered federation. Registration sheet

Registration procedure
Each country sends a full list of the delegation members:
- Climbers                   full name and date of birth
- Team official           participating in technical meeting – appeals
- National judge       each country bring a National head judge.
(The Norwegian Federation choose two head judges, one for Youth B&A, and one for junior& senior).
